American Dunes is honored to host eighteen of the top Boys’ High School Golf Programs in Michigan as teams play Golf’s Most Heroic Round in The Corporal B. Boys’ High School Golf Invitational. The competition will feature a fantastic group of young athletes while highlighting and showcasing our American Heroes and educating about and supporting the Folds of Honor Foundation in one of Michigan’s most memorable high school tournaments.

The Intrepid Invitational, Co-Hosted by Jacqy Rooney, Linda Lane, and Nancy Lopez. This inaugural event is a celebration that will pay tribute to remarkable women who embody bravery and resilience. These extraordinary women include courageous female service members, first responders, distinguished industry leaders, professional golfers, performers, and cherished friends. They epitomize fearlessness and valor, displaying unwavering strength in the face of adversity. Their pursuit of excellence knows no bounds, and we hold them in high esteem while according them the utmost respect and honor. The Intrepid Invitational event supports Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military and first responders.

Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships to the children and spouses of America’s fallen and disabled service members and first responders. Since 2007, Folds of Honor has provided nearly 51,000 educational scholarships, totaling over $255 million in educational impact, with minority recipients representing 41% of all scholarships awarded. Folds of Honor is proud to have a cumulative average ratio of 91% of every dollar raised going back to our scholarship program.
THE ROLL CALL | Sunday & Monday, August 30 – 31, 2026
The Roll Call, hosted by Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, brings together patriots and players from the PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions, and LPGA to honor our nation’s military service members and first responders.
Inspired by the military tradition of Roll Call, a gathering that fosters camaraderie and honors those who have served and sacrificed, the event celebrates fellowship, remembrance, and gratitude.
The Roll Call proudly supports Folds of Honor, providing educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.

3-Day, 54-Hole stroke play event with 15 Men’s and 12 Women’s Collegiate Teams. Participants
include all the Service Academies, an HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) team,
and one Non-Div. I School.

“CAPT. SALLY” GIRL’ HIGHSCHOOL INVITATIONAL | September 28, 2026
The “Captain Sally” Invitational honors Captain Erika “Sally” Wynne, a Special Air Missions Pilot
with the 58th Military Airlift Squadron, and celebrates the service of women in our military. This
unique event brings together top female high school golfers for a day of high-level competition
while spotlighting the legacy of the W.A.S.P. – the original Fly Girls, and the 1,102 women who
broke barriers in service. In partnership with the Folds of Honor Foundation, the tournament
also supports scholarships for the families of fallen and disabled military members, making this
one of Michigan’s most meaningful girls’ golf events.

The “PARDO” | October 16-17, 2026
The Pardo, the ultimate wingman tournament is a Two-Day, Two-Person Team Event at
American Dunes Golf Club. Join us for the “Capt. PARDO,” named to honor a true American
Hero, Captain Bob “Cheetah” Pardo, arguably the best “Wingman” ever to fly in combat. This
event combines competition and fellowship, featuring a limited field of thirty-six teams
competing in multiple formats over two days.
